The Purunã Institute

Do you know the history of São Luiz do Purunã? Do you see the cultural richness that was transmitted from the customs of our ancestors? Have you visited the natural riches and beauties of the district?

To promote social transformation, to contribute to the local valorization and the cultural rescue of the community of São Luiz do Purunã, the Purunã Institute was born. Since 2016, it has developed projects aimed at strengthening public management, empowering young people and the appreciation of entrepreneurs.

What we do

With the objective of developing São Luís do Puru, the realization of several initiatives with the community. Know some of the projects:

Forming Multipliers

Qualification of Balsa Nova educators from theoretical and practical training related to Integral Education, Nature Conservation and Citizenship.

Educating

Acting on behalf of the integral formation of students in the community of São Luiz do Purunã. Through play activities, the Institute seeks to make the school more attractive and to address themes related to sustainable development and enhancement of the local culture.

BE-lieve

Aid to adolescents to find ways and alternatives that facilitate their path towards growth, discovering themselves as individuals, professionals and citizens co-responsible for the system in which they live.

Routes of Purunã

Promotion of cycling, with the definition and signaling of three circuits in São Luiz do Purunã, for those who wish to venture out in a historical and peaceful setting.
